These TEDx talks, presented by the incredible young people of the Lycée International de St. Germain en Laye, will focus on the future, and the many ways in which youth bring hope to a world that is in dire need of fresh perspectives.

From science, Artificial Intelligence, environmental issues, intercultural understanding, and historical perspectives, to mental health and well-being, students will present their ideas on how their generation can contribute to a better world.

This exciting conference is organized in partnership between the American Section and the wider Lycée community. Talks will be in either English or French, and applications are welcomed from representatives of any of our fourteen Sections in Seconde, Première, or Terminale.

Alice Lebeau

Alice Lebeau is Première a student in the American Section of the Lycée International de St. Germain en Laye. She speaks English adn French and studies German and Spanish. Alice has lived in New York, but for the most part stayed in France. She is passionate about a variety of topics, especially questions of social equality. After the Lycee, she hopes to pursue a career in an international organization in domains such as international relations or political science. She wishes to become an actor of positive change within our society and for our upcoming generations.

Aris Rault

Aris Rault is a Terminale student in the American Section. He speaks English, Chinese, and French, and he is passionate about aviation and the culinary arts. Aris hopes to pursue a career as a professional food critic in the future.

Arthur Collin

Arthur Collin is an American Section student in Quatrième at the Collège Marcel Roby. He was born in Silicon Valley California in 2011 and moved to France in 2021. He is passionate in mathematics, programming, physics, and economics. He hopes to pursue a career in either quantitative trading, quantum engineering, or programming.

Elisa Da Rold

Elisa da Rold is an American Section student in Première at the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye. She is French and Argentinian and before moving to France, lived in the US, Panama, UAE and Italy. Elisa is passionate about fostering creativity, leadership, and connection through service, cultural exchange, and community engagement and hopes to pursue a career in medicine, and more specifically psychiatry.

Hannah Snyder

Hannah Snyder is an American Section student in Terminale at the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye. She grew up in Oklahoma, USA, before moving to France at age 11, and she later joined the Lycée International at age 13. She loves painting, poetry, and playing with her dogs. She hopes to pursue studies in the medical field.

Héloïse Le Saout

Héloïse Le Saout is an American Section student in Terminale at the Lycee International de Saint Germain en Laye. She speaks French and English, and studies German and Chinese. She is passionate about Mathematics, Physics and Innovation, and she hopes to study Engineering and Business in order to implement innovations in real life.

Ines Chahid

Ines Chahid is a Première student in the American Section of the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye who is passionate about mathematics and computer science. She is deeply concerned about climate change, and aspires to make a difference in the field of engineering.

Iris Antonides

Iris Antonides is a Dutch section student of the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye in Terminale. She speaks English, French and Dutch. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, debating about social issues and traveling. Next year she hopes to study economics in Holland.

Kassandra Mallet Perales

Kassandra Mallet-Perales is a British Section student in Terminale of the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye. She speaks French, English and Spanish. She is passionate about rugby and hopes in the future to study law in the UK. Kassandra will talk about the necessity of activism in enacting change, especially with regard to the current climate crisis.

Martin Delamotte

Martin Delamotte, an American Section Première student at the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye, is fluent in English, French, and German. Driven by a passion for entrepreneurship and finance he aspires to pursue business studies.

Sidonie Saunier

Sidonie Saunier is a Première student in the American Section of the Lycée International de Saint Germain en Laye. She speaks both English and French and loves hiking and the outdoors, bouldering, and cooking. In the future, she would like to study intellectual property or criminal law.
