In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Nainna Guptaa is a 22-year-old entrepreneur and the founder of HindSe, a microfinance startup empowering underserved communities, especially women entrepreneurs. After earning her BSc in Finance from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, she saw a glaring gap in India's financial sector, private lenders exploiting people while banks denied loans without collateral. Determined to change this, she started HindSe with a team of three. In just a year, it has grown to a team of 30, serving over 3,000 clients.
