In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized (subject to certain rules and regulations).

Chase Burkheiser is a young advocate for stopping the spread of misinformation and a TEDxYouth speaker who is set on making the public aware of how easy it is for false information and rumors to spread. In his work, Chase attempts to show the populace how to differentiate the difference between fact and falsehood. As a speaker featured at TEDxYouth, Chase will be delivering a talk titled " You think you know the truth. Are you sure?". diving into the internet and how the first information people see is taken as truth and becomes stuck in minds so much so that when the facts are revealed it is too late, as well as how to make yourself less susceptible to misinformation and misleading content. When off the stage, Chase is an avid speaker of truth. He works hard to understand the world and people around him for what they are. Eylizia Miriah Nelson is a young and bright advocate for child sexual assault awareness and a TEDxYouth speaker who wants to raise awareness about CSA and victims of it. With her own experiences, she wants people to know the signs and how to help people who may have or are going through this. As a featured speaker at TEDxYouth, she will present ¨Blame It On The Kids?¨, showcasing her experience, how those are affected, the mental state those are put in, and how to identify the signs. Her understanding insight has proven resourceful on helping victims and understand. Off the stage, Eylizia enjoys psychological forms of media and thinking to benefit her future career as a neuroscientist. She also enjoys video games and nostalgia of her childhood. Her insights have sparked meaningful conversations and motivated audiences to take action toward bettering themself mentally. My name is Morgan and my TEDxYouth is about the power of an entrepreneur. My passion is for Dance because outlet to express my emotions physically. Cosmetology (Hair) has also Encouraged my confidence and creativity to run wild in making myself self and others look as beautiful as I feel inside. Along with Writing (Poetry) as a comfort hobby that gives me a way to share my voice of my daily highs and lows experienced and current. Which is why my subject is about the power of an entrepreneur and its impact to inspire me to do these expertise and inspire others to be their own boss. Some achievements I have experienced from this were Hair collaborations with popular companies, TikTok viral, personal income increase, grade boosts in academics and creativity. But mostly what fuels my inspiration is my village and my future aspirations are to become successful in the business field as a choreographer and hairstylist.
