Shahram Izadi blends the digital and physical worlds using augmented reality, AI and computer vision. As the leader of AR and XR at Google, he is spearheading the development of Android XR, a new operating system for extended reality devices that aims to revolutionize how we use intelligent virtual assistants in our everyday lives. He previously worked at Microsoft on products like Surface Table, Kinect and HoloLens, and he cofounded Perceptive IO, a startup focused on AI and computer vision for mixed reality that was acquired by Google.
